Adastra Merlot Carneros Napa Valley 2006

Adastra (which means "to the stars") is a small production winery dedicated to growing some of the finest organic grapes in the Carneros region of Napa Valley. 

The 2006 Adastra Merlot made by one of Napa's premier winemaker's Pam Starr, exhibits a beautiful ruby color with aromas of plums, cherries, blueberries, chocolate, cocoa powder, cola and a hint of cardamom. This velvety wine is delicious for drinking alone or pairing with a special meal. Aged for over 21 months in 100% French oak, the Adastra Merlot has a long, lingering finish.

アダストラ（「星へ」の意）は、ナパバレーのカーネロス地区にある最高の有機栽培ブドウを育てることに献身している小規模ワイナリー。

2006年アダストラ・メルローはナパでも有数の醸造家、パム・スター女史の手による。色は美しいルビー色。プラムやチェリー、ブルーベリー、チョコレート、ココアパウダー、コーラの芳香の中にカルダモンも微かに香る。口当たりはベルベットのように滑らかで、ワイン単品でいただいても、特別な機会に食事といっしょにいただいても美味しい。フレンチオーク樽100%で21ヶ月間熟成。余韻が長く糸を引く。
