Heidi Barrett's 2009 Amuse Bouche Pomerol blend of Merlot (96%) and Cabernet Franc (4%) is lush and loaded with wild berry and ripe plum flavors, coffee and dark chocolate. Impressive credits include Jones Family, Showket, Screaming Eagle and Dalla Valle, Amuse Bouche is Heidi Barrett's personal project with longtime friend and partner John Schwartz. A very special wine from an exceptional winemaker.

あのワイン評論界の第一人者ロバート・パーカー（Robert Parker）氏に「ワインづくりの女神」 とまで言わせたハイジ・バレット（Heide Barrett）女史の作品。メルロー （96％）にカベルネ・フラン（4％）をブレンド。野生のベリーや熟したプラムのほか、コーヒーやダークチョコレートの風味が口いっぱいに広がる香り豊かな逸品。ジョーンズ・ファミリー（Jones Family）、ショーケット（Showket）、スクリーミング・イーグル（ Screaming Eagle）、ダラ・ヴァレ（Dalla Valle）など数々のカルトワインを手がけたことで知られる女史が、旧友でありパートナーである ジョン・シュウォルツ（John Schwartz）氏と共に作り上げたプライベートワイン。特別な人と特別な日に味わってみたい、類まれなワインメーカーのつくる極上品。アミューズ・ブッシュ（Amuse Bouche）という名のとおり「お口に楽しい」ワイン。
