Blandy's Madeira Alvada 5 Year Old 500ml

 Madeira is a fortified Portuguese wine dating back to the 15th century. Produced in the Madeira Islands, Madeira wines may be dry or sweet, depending on the grape and style.

Established in 1811, the Blandy's house has persevered to become the largest exporter of Madeira. Alvada is an excellent value wine composed of Malmsey and Bual , two of the four major varietals used in Madeira and aged for five years. Once opened these wines will keep virtually forever!

The result is a medium-bodied yet richly flavorful complex wine with notes of fig, date, orange blossom, brown sugar and roasted nuts. A delicate sweetness makes this an excellent after-dinner treat. Drink alone or pair with almond cake, hazelnut tarts, pecan pie and milk chocolate desserts, Aged Gouda (2 years or more), and Manchego Cheeses.

マデイラはポルトガルの酒精強化ワイン。創始は15世紀までさかのぼる。ポルトガルのマデイラ諸島で生産されるマデイラ・ワインは品種とスタイルによって辛口のものも甘口のものもある。

1811年の創立以来、ブランディーズはマデイラ・ワインの最大手輸出業者。「アルヴァダ」はマームジーとボアル（マデイラ・ワインに使用される主品種4種のうちの2種）のブレンドで5年間熟成したもの。飲み頃は半永久的に続く！

ミディアム・ボディー。イチジクやデーツ、オレンジの花、ブラウン・シュガーやローストしたナッツなどの香りが漂う風味は、豊潤で味わい深く複雑。繊細な甘さが食後のひと時にぴったり。単品でいただいても、アーモンド・ケーキやヘーゼルナッツ・タルト、ピーカン・パイ、ミルクチョコレートのデザート、エイジド・ゴーダ・チーズ（2年以上熟成）、マンチェゴ・チーズなどといっしょにいただいても美味しい。
