Casaeda Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2008
Karen Culler has been producing wines under the Casaeda label since the 1999 vintage. The name, Casaeda, comes from Karen's daughter, who used to mispronounce the word 'cicada.' Karen started her own label, Culler Wines in 1997 (after 12 years with Robert Mondavi) and has also been the consultant for many other fine wines in Napa Valley.
A blend of primarily Cabernet Sauvignon from declassified fruit from Howell Mountain and Syrah from Sonoma and Napa, which adds spice and juicy dark fruit. 393 cases produced.
カセーダ カベルネ・ソービニオン ナパ・バレー 2008
ロバート・モンダビで12年間醸造家をしていたカレン・キュラー女史のプライベート・ワイン。カセーダの名は、彼女の娘が「シカダ（セミのこと）」を「カセーダ」といい間違えたことに由来。彼女はナパバレーで造られる数多くのワインのコンサルタントも務める。
これは、ナパバレーのハウエル・マウンテン地区からのカベルネ・ソービニオンを基調としたブレンド。少量ブレンドしたシラーが、スパイシーさと、赤色、黒色系フルーツのジューシーなフルーツ感を付け加えている。わずか393ケースの限定生産。
