Hundred Acre "Cherry Pie" Pinot Noir Carneros 2009

Made by Hundred Acre with grapes from Stanly Ranch in Carneroes. This 100% Pinot Noir opens with a nose of dark Bing cherries, hints of white and black pepper, plum pudding with subtle smoke and tobacco at a distance. Intense fruit flavors carry all the way through the palate showing beautiful balance, texture and elegance. Think Cherry Pie.

ハンドレッド・エーカー　「チェリーパイ」　ピノ・ノアール　カーネロス　2009

カーネロス地区にあるスタンレー・ランチからのブドウを使用してハンドレット・エーカーが造ったワイン。100％ピノ・ノアール。黒色ビング・チェリーに白や黒の胡椒の香り。ちょっとスモークしたプラム・プリンやタバコも微かに香る。凝縮されたフルーツの風味が口全体に広がり、バランスの良さ、口当たり良さ、エレガントさが、まさにチェリーパイを思わせる。「ナパワインの女王」と呼ばれるあのハイジ・バレットがコンサルタント。
