Peter Paul Chardonnay Russian River Valley 2009
Super-duo Daniel Moore (Martinelli, Lynmar) and Jeff Morgan (Covenant Wines) are co-winemakers for Peter Paul Wines, based in Russian River Valley.
This unfiltered Chardonnay was grown in an exceptional area located above the Atascadero/Green Valley watershed in one of the coolest parts of the Russian River Valley.
A lush textured wine balanced by firm, bright acidity, this Chardonnay is blessed with a fine array of flavors that kick off with pretty lemon and orange notes. These are followed by layers of tropical mango and coconut, and topped off with a hint of nutmeg and spice. Framed in vanilla and toast, the wine finishes fresh and long.

ダニエル・ムーア氏（マーティネリ、リンマーの醸造家）とジェフ・モーガン氏（カブナント・ワインズの醸造家）のスーパー・デュオが、ロシアン・リバー・バレーにあるピーター・ポール・ワインズの醸造家。
ロシアン・リバー・バレーのなかでも特に冷涼なアタスカデロ/グリーンバレーの流域の高度の高い位置にある優良地域からのブドウを使用した無ろ過のシャルドネ。
豊潤な口当たりは、華やかでしっかりとした酸味とのバランスが良い。愛らしいレモンやオレンジの香りではじまる一連の風味が楽しく、そのあとにトロピカル・マンゴやココナッツの風味が層を成して続き、ナツメグやスパイスも微かに香る。バニラやトーストを微かに香らせながら、さわやかな余韻が長く続く。
