Robert Mondavi Winery Pinot Noir 2009

Los Carneros is known for its nutrient-lean soils, strong afternoon winds and cool evening fog that rolls in off the San Francisco Bay to blanket the vineyards. These conditions contribute to the development of richly textured, vibrantly flavored Pinot Noir fruit. This exceptional wine displays ripe, jammy flavors with subtle notes of spice, herbs and toasted oak.

ナパバレーのロス・カーネロス地区は、痩せた土壌と午後の強風、サンフランシスコ湾から流れこんでビンヤードを覆い尽くす冷涼な夜霧で有名なところ。このテロアールの組み合わせは、舌触りがしっかりとしていて活気のある風味をもつピノ・ノアールの果実が育つのに役立っている。

スパイスやハーブ、香ばしいオークの香りが微かに漂う熟したジャムのような風味。
