Schramsberg Brut Rose Sparkling Wine 2008
This vintage Brut Rose from Schramsberg is comprised of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay from all along California's North Coast (Mendocino, Napa, Sonoma and Marin). A mouthwatering bouquet entices with strawberry and watermelon fruit with hints of cinnamon toast on the nose. It's well-integrated palate is punctuated with fine bubbles, stone fruit, berry and citrus notes that are tangy and fresh.
Schramsberg Winery is located just off Highway 29 in Calistoga, and has some of the oldest caves in Napa Valley. It is a great spot to visit. By appointment only.

シュラムスバーグ ブリュット・ロゼ・スパークリング・ワイン 2008
2007年のシュラムスバーグ・ブリュット・ロゼはピノ・ノアール60％とシャルドネ40％からなる。カリフォルニアの北部沿岸地域（メンドシーノ、ナパ、ソノマ、マリンの各郡）からのブドウを使用。イチゴやスイカの芳香にシナモン・トーストの香りが微かに漂うブーケに思わず生唾を飲んでしまう。細かい泡とベリーやシトラスのピリッとフレッシュな香りが、調和の取れた風味にアクセントを添えている。
世界中の国際行事でも多々採用され、ホワイトハウスの公式晩餐会では何政権にも渡って連続で採用されている。
シュラムスバーグ・ワイナリーはナパバレー北部にあるカリストガ市のハイウェイ29号線からわずかに入ったところにある。地下ワイン貯蔵洞はその古さにおいてナパバレーでも有数。一度は訪れてみたいワイナリー。要予約。
