Weber Pinot Noir Mishelle Santa Rita Hills 2009
Weber Wine Company sources fruit from numerous sites throughout California as well as Oregon. Predominantly focused on producing food friendly Pinot Noir.
The Santa Rita appellation is located just east of Lompoc, CA and due to its proximity to the cool Pacific Ocean, it remains amazingly cool year round.
The grapes for Mishelle come from a landmark vineyard in the Santa Rita Hills. Bryan Babcock's home ranch vineyard is a showcase of meticulous hand farming. A true pioneer in the region, Bryan employs proprietary pruning techniques in his vineyard, and the fruit he farms is as delicious and clean as any that has ever been grown.
A more Burgundian style, very elegant and pretty. Raspberry, ripe cranberry, red roses and sweet spices lead to a nicely balanced rich finish.
