Zmor Pinot Noir "Roller Coaster" Russian River 2008

This Zmor Pinot Noir is made exclusively from grapes grown at the  tiny Roller Coaster Vineyard. The vineyard is located at the west end of the Russian River Valley appellation on a bench adjacent to the Russian River. There are 4 distinct blocks, two of which form the core of this signature bottling. The cool site allows the grapes to mature with full flavor at lower sugar levels; perfect for winemaker Daniel Moore's consistent style of the last 3 decades. Intense plum, rich cherry and spice notes, this single vineyard Pinot Noir displays an elegant array of flavors, all framed in firm tannins and subtle toast and earthiness. On the finish, it’s fresh and clean. 

ジーモア　ピノ・ノワール　「ローラー・コースト」　ロシアン・リバー　2008

ナパ郡のとなりソノマ郡のロシアン・リバー地区にある、ローラー・コースターと呼ばれる小さなビンヤードからのブドウだけを使用。このビンヤードは、ロシアン・リバー・バレー地区の西端に位置し、ロシアン・リバー川に隣接している。はっきりと異なる4つのブロックから成るビンヤードの、2つのブロックから採れたブドウがこのワインの中核を成す。冷涼な気候の下で育つブドウは風味は熟していながら糖分が低い。醸造家ダニエル・ムーア氏が30年以上コンスタントに守り続けているスタイルにとってこの上ないブドウ。プラムやチェリーにスパイスが香る。風味はエレガントでタンニン（渋み成分）はしっかりしている。香ばしい香りや土の香りも微かに香る。余韻はさわやか。
