Very dark black ruby color. A primary aroma of elegant black raspberry is accompanied by notes of plum, vanilla bean, wet stone, and subtle toasted spices. On the palate, wild blackberry pie comes to mind in this concentrated, beautifully ripe and structured Cab. A big wine with balance, complexity and textural, integrated tannins leading to a long, powerful and silky finish. Voluptuous and intriguing, and it will surely age and develop for many years to come.
バレット・アンド・バレット カベルネ・ソービニオン ナパ・バレー 2016超銘醸造家ハイディー・バレット女史が夫のボー・バレット氏（シャトーモントレーナのオーナー）がコラボで作るカルトワイン。黒色に近い非常に濃いルビー色。ブラックベリーの洗練された香の周りにプラムやバニラ豆、濡れた石の香が漂い、さらにトーストしたスパイスも微かに漂う。非常に凝縮された風味はブラックベリー・パイを思い起こさせる。素晴らしく熟したしっかり作られたカベルネ。大きなワインだがバランスが良く複雑みも素晴らしく、タンニンも舌触りが良くよく溶け込んでいる。力強い滑らかな余韻が長く続く。まだまだ寝かせても面白いだろう。 |
