This Chardonnay opens with fresh, creamy aromas of ripe pear, apple and citrus, with light butter, yeast and spicy oak tones adding complexity. The wine’s rich, focused, green apple, melon and guava flavors are nicely balanced by fresh acidity and a piquant mineral tone. Both mouthfilling and elegant, this quintessential Napa Valley Chardonnay is delectable now, but it will develop even greater complexity with another 5-8 years’ bottle age.
ケークブレッド シャルドネ ナパ・バレー 2021ケークブレッド・セラーズの創設は30年前。今ではナパを代表するワイナリーに。熟した洋ナシやリンゴ、シトラス系フルーツの芳香にはバターやイースト、スパイシーなオークも漂い複雑感がある。青リンゴやメロン、グアバの豊潤で的を得た風味がさわやかな酸味やちょっと刺激的なミネラル感と見事にバランスを取っている。豊潤でしかもエレガント。今頂いても美味しいが、5年ぐらい瓶内熟成しても複雑味が増して美味しくいただけるだろう。alc. 14.1% |
