This is a product of the younger vines of winemaker Ehren Jordan's Sonoma Coast vineyards.It offers soft, round berry fruit, pomegranate, plum and spice notes touched by sweet, smoky oak. Medium-body. It’s dry and brisk with coastal acidity and firm tannins.This is a fine Pinot for drinking now or over the next 3-4 years.

ファイラの醸造家兼オーナーは、エレ ン・ジョーダン氏。カルトワイナリー、ターリーでアシスタント醸造家を務めた後、立ち上げたのがこのファイラ。ソノマの太平洋沿岸部にあるいくつかの畑の若いブドウ樹のブドウを使用したワイン。ベリー系フルーツやザクロ、プラムの優しい風味にスパイスがきいている。甘くスモーキーなオークも香る。ミディアム・ボディー。沿岸部産の特徴である酸味としっかりしたタンニンを持つドライでキリッしたワイン。今いただいても美味しいが、3、4年寝かせても美味しそう。alc, 13.8%
