Ripe white peaches, baked pear, vanilla, orange blossom honey and toasted almonds are prominent in the nose and the wine's incredible depth coats the mouth with flavors that linger forever. This wine is perfect with fruit tarts, rich cheeses or serve it all by itself for dessert. Blended predominantly Sauvignon Blanc and Riesling with some Gewurztraminer.
ガーギッジ・ヒルズ・エステート ビオレッタレイトハーベスト ナパ・バレー 2018 375ml「ビオレッタ」の名はガーギッジ氏の娘、バイオレットさんに由来している。他に類をみないこの美味しいレイト・ハーベスト・ワイン（収穫を遅らせたブドウを使用した）には貴腐菌が貢献している。この菌がブドウの皮に付着するとブドウの糖分と風味が凝縮される。主にソービニオン・ブランとリースリング、それにゲヴュルツトラミネールいくらかを一ヶ所でいっしょに栽培。熟した白桃やベークした洋ナシ、バニラ、オレンジの花の蜂蜜、トーストしたアーモンドが大きく香り、驚くほど深みのある風味が口いっぱいにひろがる。余韻も長く続く。フルーツタルトやこくの強いチーズには最高。もちろん食後酒としてそれだけいただいても最高。 |
