Pride Cabernet Franc Sonoma/Napa 2013

Agriculture is in the Pride family's blood. The Pride's purchase of historic Summit Ranch atop Spring Mountain in 1989 and its subsequent development was the culmination of a lifetime of farming for Jim and Carolyn Pride. Jim passed away in August of 2004 after a long battle with cancer, yet his commitment to quality and his vision for Pride Mountain Vineyards is carried forward by Carolyn Pride and their two grown children, Suzanne Pride Bryan and Steven Pride.
The Pride family's iconic Summit Ranch has a rich winemaking history dating back to 1869. Pride has two separate facilities, one in Napa County and one in Sonoma County, with the division down the center of the crush pad, hence the Napa/Sonoma designation.

Dark penetrating nose of sweet plums and blueberries, moist tobacco and spring acacia flowers. A rich, full, comforting mouthfeel of pure silky pleasure. The flavors evolve from creamy plum flan to more complex hints of tobacco, cedar and incense.
